Ohmygoodnessgracious

I got out and went to dinner with Aaron and some friends Monday evening, but besides that I've been sitting here holed up at the studio plugging away since Sunday afternoon. Finally finished a rough edit of 1600 shots from the parade, and currently I'm laying out two doubletrucks for Friday's SGN. Disappointed I'm missing the trip to Wild Waves with some girls from Gender Alliance of the South Sound this afternoon (I've never been to a water park!), but first things first. My goal is to be all caught up with everything (the parade and about a dozen more batch edits) by the 11th, in time for a camping trip with Aaron. Hopefully later tonight or tomorrow I'll get the chance to start processing selects to share here; that is, after a break to run home, clean up and grab something good to eat. In the meantime, here's a shot of George and Brad Takei showing off their wedding rings at Saturday's private reception at The Sorrento Hotel. As often as George does the Vulcan salute for fans and for as many pictures there are of him floating around on the Internet, I hadn't come across one like this yet. It's most likely been done, but I haven't seen it so I made it happen! Celebrities are photographed so often, the trick is finding a way to make a portrait that's different and memorable. If only he'd shared it with his 7 million Facebook fans!
